The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is based on science evidence from the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
NOTE: if you are not current you must take the provider class.
PALS Renewal courses are for participants who have had ACLS training WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS. Remember there is no grace period.
PALS Provider courses are for participants that have never had ACLS training or those that have allowed their ACLS training to lapse. Training is only good for 2 years.
